High blood glucose levels at any two or
more blood test times during the Ogtt- fasting, 1 hour, 2 hours, or 3 hours- mean you have gestational diabetes. your health care team will explain what your Ogtt results mean.
Incase you attain a random blood glucose level of 200 mg/dL or more, your doctor may advise you to check your blood
glucose level on another day using the FPG or the Ogtt to confirm the diagnosis of diabetes.
Take an Ogtt regardless of your fasting-glucose and A1c
scores if you score 140 mg/dl or higher on a random glucose test(one you take without fasting beforehand), your belly's bulging(that is, your body mass index is 30 or higher), or you experience head-snapping slumps after a high-carbohydrate meal.
