That is how We have rewarded them because of their Insolence.

God shall mock them, and shall lead them on blindly wandering in their Insolence.

None can guide those whom Allah leaves in error. He leaves them in their Insolence, wandering blindly.
If We had mercy on
them and removed their afflictions, they would still persist in their Insolence, blindly wandering.
Then We will surely
extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in Insolence.
God will requite them for their mockery, and draw them on, for a while, to wander blindly in their Insolence.
Did We have mercy on
them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their Insolence wandering blindly.
Or who is it that could provide
for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in Insolence and aversion.
We will turn away their hearts and eyes since they refused to believe in it at first.
We will leave them in their Insolence wandering blindly.
