Snuba tourism- HiSoUR- Hi So You Are.
Snuba diving is NOT dive training.
Snuba is also popular because no prior dive
experience is necessary.
The Snuba system was devised in 1989 by California
diver Michael Stafford.
Snuba is therefore best used in areas where wind,
waves and current are negligible.
Other Snuba locations are off the beaches on some of Maui's fringing reefs.
Your Snuba guide should thouroughly cover the prevention of
pressure related illnesses before your Snuba dive.
Snuba diving is a popular guided touring
activity in tropical tourist locations such as Hawaii, Thailand, the Caribbean and México.
The origin of the word“Snuba” may be a combination of snorkel and scuba,
as it bridges the gap between the two.
But if you're not quite ready to take the
plunge, or simply want to try something new, then Snuba could be your answer.
It was then developed and patented in 1990 by Snuba International, based in Diamond Springs,
California, who own the trademark and license it as a touring program.
And then comes the big test-
I recently went for Snorkeling and Snuba Diving in Hawaii, and I took
the Gear Sport for an adventure for close to two-hours under water.
Since all Snuba use is offered by licensed operators
who operate the systems as a guided tour, the probability of being subjected to strong current, high waves or high wind is not likely.
