Prodromal, or preliminary(from 3 to 7 days),
Prodromal period of the bullous pemphigoid or nebulous pemphigoid;
Prodromal phase- you may have severe sweating
and feel very sick.
Prodromal symptoms include tingling(paresthesia),
itching, and pain where lumbosacral nerves innervate the skin.
Patients should try to avoid injuries caused by Prodromal symptoms such as syncope or dizziness.
The Prodromal symptoms are fever, headache, and myalgia, which can be severe, lasting as long as 24 hours.
An episode of the disorder(including Prodromal, active and residual phases)
lasts at least 1 month but less than 6 months.
If you have any warning that an episode is going to start, in the Prodromal phase, it can be very useful
to take treatment early to prevent an episode actually occurring.
To minimize the effect of schizophrenia,
much work has recently been done to identify and treat the Prodromal(pre-onset) phase of the illness,
which has been detected up to 30 months before the onset of symptoms, but may be present longer.
