For instance, the human body is a holon which has several Holons(organs) in it.
He said that the universe is not formed of atoms or
molecules, but of Holons.
Wilber says that Holons have drives to maintain their “wholenessâ€
and “partness†and hence are “units of consciousnessâ.
In the Lower Right quadrants,
one can testify the validity of Holons based on “how individual Holons fit together into interlocking systemsâ.
The organs(brain or kidney or heart) are Holons in themselves, within which there maybe several Holons,
so much so that the last holon maybe a human cell or an atom.
A holography is a holon hierarchy which comprises of large Holons, which in turn comprise of several smaller Holons and they in turn,
split into further smaller Holons and so on.
Ken Wilber comments that the test of holon hierarchy(e.g. holarchy) is that if all instances of a given type of holon were removed from existence,
then all those Holons of which they were a part must necessarily cease to exist too.
