Parrikar is currently in the US for a medical treatment.
They are more scared about losing the state than Parrikar's health.

Last month, the Congress accused Parrikar of threatening people from his hospital room.
Parrikar, 62, was taken to the Goa Medical College and Hospital(GMCH)
last evening on a wheelchair.
A six-time MLA and former Defence Minister, Mr Parrikar was born on 13th December 1955.
Hours earlier, Parrikar's office had tweeted that his condition was“extremely
critical” and“doctors are trying their best”.
No doubt Shri Manohar Parrikar will be remembered as one of best
Defence Ministers of India.
Parrikar said yesterday through“proper process”,
by year end“we might select few aircraft to Make in India.
Parrikar said their desire is to further collaborate
in the higher-end technologies within the framework of DTTI.
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has said in an interview that“the temperature
has come down on the border”.
Sources said Parrikar, 62, came to Delhi by a special chartered flight
and reached AIIMS around 1.10 p.m.
Every day, Parrikar is in touch with chief secretary,
principal secretary or whoever wants to talk to him.
Talking about the significance of December 16, Parrikar said it was a day when India
achieved a"decisive victory".

Later, Parrikar while talking to reporters, said
one thing is clear that his government is serious about national security.

the opposition in Goa raised questions over the stability of the government because of Parrikar's illness;
The rented premises belonged to Nilesh Amonkar, a Goa-based computer dealer,
who was a close associate of Manohar Parrikar.
Parrikar said that India did not shy
away from expressing its concerns to China in a clear and firm manner.
Prime Minister Modi first expanded his cabinet in November 2014 when he inducted 21 new faces,
including Parrikar as defence minister.
Parrikar also made it clear that‘Make in India'
does not mean just assembly of equipment but manufacturing through transfer of technology.
Parrikar said the government has held extensive
consultations with experts and ex-servicemen and decided to implement OROP despite the huge financial burden.
