It regulates registration of Overseas Citizen of India Cardholders(Ocis), and their rights.
The Ministry has issued notifications granting registered Ocis further benefits as under:.
The Act provides that the central government may cancel registration of Ocis on certain grounds.
The 1955 Act provides that the
central government may cancel the registration of Ocis on various grounds.
Any Indian citizen, resident or non-resident, and Ocis are eligible to join NPS till the age of 65.
In terms of nationality, citizens of India, NRIs, Ocis, PIOs and foreign nationals are eligible for NEET 2019.
Any Indian citizen, resident or non-resident and Ocis are eligible to join NPS till the age of 65 years.
The total number of awards to be given in a year,
excluding posthumous awards and to NRI/foreigners/Ocis, cannot exceed 120.
Any Indian citizen, resident or non-resident and Ocis are eligible to join the NPS till the age of 65 years.
Now, any Indian citizen, resident or non-resident and Ocis are eligible to join NPS till the age of 60 years.

to NRI/ foreigners/Ocis) should not be more than 120.
NRIs and Ocis can only obtain an FPI licence
on condition that they limit their roles to investment advisors and do not invest their money.
