Under the Project 75 programme, India is committed to building six
Scorpene-class submarines that also includes INS Kalvari and Ins Khanderi.

submarine INS Khanderi.
The Indian Navy's submarine, Kalvari, P8-1 and Dornier maritime
patrol aircraft and MiG 29K fighter aircraft are also participating in the exercise.

On 8 December 1967, the first submarine Kalvari was inducted into the Indian Navy
and retired from the Navy on 31 March 1996 after 30 years of national service.
