The National Shipbuilding Exhibition, also known as EXPONAV, opened its doors to the public on March 10,
2008 at the Ferrol naval base(La Coruña),
Spain, as the main Spanish maritime museum dedicated to the history of shipbuilding in the world and in particular in Spain.
Located inside the Naval base of Ferrol, in the former Barracks of Inmates known as San Campio
and projected in 1765, it shows the link between the Navy and the city since in 1726 Patiño chose the Ferrol estuary and the town of Graña for Build the Navy arsenal on the north coast.
