And Xeomin, up to three months, however,
the effect may last significantly longer, or shorter, depending on the patient.
Because neurotoxin is the only active pharmaceutical ingredient in Xeomin, it is known as the“naked” neurotoxin
and is believed to offer the shortest duration of results.
Xeomin: Xeomin works toward the same goal as Botox and Dysport-
blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles- but the difference is in how it is manufactured.
According to ASAPS, botulinum toxin(that includes Botox Cosmetic,
Dysport and Xeomin) has been the number-one nonsurgical procedure since 2000,
and surpassed the 4-million mark for number of procedures performed last year.
I asked dozens of questions and studied each injectable and what it does(who knew there were also other injectables that function like Botox but
have different names like Dysport and Xeomin?)?
It is critical at this juncture to clarify that this lawsuit, which is commercial in nature and
focuses specifically on alleged trade secrets, did not call into question the quality of Xeomin.”.
Instead of the injection site being on the skin's surface in the midsection, there's an endoscope involved, and then(in a nutshell) the neuromodulator(Botox,
Dysport or Xeomin) is injected into the actual stomach.
Typical in-office treatments for rosacea include lasers and light-based procedures, but as Refinery29 reports, neuromodulators(think Botox Cosmetic,
Dysport and Xeomin) are now being added
to the list of options for reducing frustrating flare-ups(off-label).
It may be a miracle in a bottle and the ultimate wrinkle eraser, but do you really know what's going on
when a single dose of any neuromodulator(Botox, Dysport or Xeomin) gets injected?

According to a recent study from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, more than half a million women between the ages of 19 and 34 have gotten neuromodulators injected(as in Botox,
Dysport, Xeomin).
Xeomin(a botulinum toxin,
which like Botox or Dysport is used to relax frown lines between the eyebrows) is officially back on the market now that a 10-month injunction against Merz, the company that makes the drug, has expired.
The result of a lawsuit disputing Merz's use of commercial trade secrets,
the injunction has placed some limitations on sales of Xeomin for 10 months,
a time frame which may be reduced or terminated if the company satisfies the examination and remediation process.
Greenwich, CT, dermatologist Kim Nichols, MD, says there's no denying that neuromodulators(including Botox Cosmetic,
Dysport and Xeomin) are getting a lot of buzz,
which, in turn, means a lot more patients come in and ask for it or want to know more about it- even when they aren't 100-percent ready for it.
