Can not restore Tty settings: tcsetattr.
What is the exact difference between a'terminal', a'shell', a'Tty' and a'console'?
One Tty can be used to satisfy more than one of these requirements.
Linux can be compiled without virtual console
text terminal support, but not without Tty support.
(The Tty code still has nothing to do with handling VT100 escape codes,
just a few low-ASCII control codes.).
If this function is bound to the same character as the Tty EOF character,
as C-d commonly is, see above for the effects.
If you or a contact must use Teletype(Tty) because of a hearing impairment, a Tty device must be connected for the feature to work.
Note: If you change the Tty in step 1,
go back to graphics mode by pressing Ctrl + Alt + F7(or Ctrl + Alt + F8).
I'm trying to draw a line between the Tty code
and the part of Linux that implements a VT100-like terminal on a graphics card and a USB/ps2/AT keyboard.
