The area between two of these layers is called the Subarachnoid space.
A lumbar puncture(spinal tap)
may be needed if the CT scan is normal but a Subarachnoid haemorrhage is still suspected.
Disposable Sterile Anesthesia Kit Anesthesia kit is divided into a one-time use of epidural block,

A sudden severe headache in the back of the head, which extends to the rest of the head and is accompanied
by rigidity of the occipital and cervical muscles, may become a symptom of Subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Hydrocephalus ex vacuo also refers to an enlargement of cerebral ventricles and Subarachnoid spaces,
and is usually due to brain atrophy(as it occurs in dementias), post-traumatic brain injuries and even in some psychiatric disorders, such as schizophrenia.
Direct contamination of the cerebrospinal fluid may arise from indwelling devices, skull fractures, or infections of the nasopharynx or
the nasal sinuses that have formed a tract with the Subarachnoid space(see above);
occasionally, congenital defects of the dura mater can be identified.
The large-scale inflammation that occurs in the Subarachnoid space during meningitis is not a direct
result of bacterial infection but can rather largely be attributed to the response of the immune system to the entry of bacteria into the central nervous system.
Temporal arteritis typically occurs in people over 50 years old and presents with tenderness over the temple, cluster headaches presents with one-sided nose stuffiness, tears and severe pain around the orbits, acute glaucoma is associated with vision problems,
meningitis with fevers, and Subarachnoid hemorrhage with a very fast onset.
