A Scorner seeketh wisdom,
He that reproveth a Scorner getteth to himself shame:
When a Scorner is punished, the naive 1 becomes wise;
When the Scorner is punished, the simple is made wise;
A wise son heareth his father's instruction; but a Scorner heareth not rebuke.”(13.1).
A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a Scorner heareth not rebuke.
Cast out the Scorner, and contention shall go out;
yea, strife and reproach shall cease.
A Scorner seeketh wisdom,
and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.
A Scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.
Reprove not a Scorner, lest he hate thee:
rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Proverbs 15:12(TMB) A Scorner loveth not one that reproveth him, neither will he go unto the wise.
When the Scorner is punished,
the simple are made wise, and when the wise are instructed, he receives knowledge.
Smite a Scorner, and the simple will beware:
and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
He that reproveth a Scorner getteth to himself shame:
and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the Scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off.
