The most common causative agents of sepsis are staphylococcus, E. coli,
streptococci, pneumococci.
Gram-positive anaerobes( Staphylococcus aureus, Pneumococcus, pyogenic streptococcus,
other species of the genus Staphylococcus and streptococcus, Clostridia, Peptococci);
Streptococcus pneumonia(Pneumococcus)- This bacterium is the most common cause of bacterial meningitis,
adults, young children and infants.
India has rolled out some of these new vaccines, the rotavirus
