God commands us to celebrate the Passover, nevertheless some insist on celebrating Christmas.
The day after Passover, the people ate food that grew in that land.
The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
For this observance, he himself contributes 30,000 Passover animals and 3,000 head of cattle.
The answer can
be found in this profound statement:“ Christ our Passover has been sacrificed.”?
This date corresponds to Nisan 14,
which was when Jesus held the last valid Passover.
In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's Passover.
This week millions of families will gather together to celebrate a holiday,
Easter or Passover.
At each Passover meal, or Seder, the
father was to remind his family of that salvation.
Thus,“ Christ our Passover[ was] sacrificed” on the same
day as the Passover lamb was slaughtered.
There you must sacrifice the Passover animal in the evening when the sun goes down.
