It is centered on the façade of a building, with radiating avenues and paths of gravel,
lawns, Parterres and pools(bassins) of reflective water enclosed in geometric
shapes by stone coping, with fountains and sculpture.
They occupied the main or principal floor of the château neuf, with three rooms in each apartment facing the garden to the west and
four facing the garden Parterres to the north and south, respectively.

lower Parterres survive, but the patterned bedding has long been grassed over;
it is currently being restored.
