Stimulates the formation of bone cells- Osteoblasts, strengthens the skeleton;
Therefore they slow down bone loss,
allowing the bone building cells(Osteoblasts) to work more effectively.
During that pressure, certain cells, Osteoblasts and osteoclasts, move into place so the tooth will move.
In osteoblast cells, administration of imatinib mesylate decreased
osteoclast development via stimulating differentiation, inhibiting proliferation and survival.
This molecule is produced by Osteoblasts and other cells(e.g. lymphocytes),
and stimulates RANK receptor activator of nuclear factor κB.
Was positively correlated with BMD, so ghrelin may be involved in
the metabolism of bone tissue, affecting the function of Osteoblasts.
Because Osteoblasts and osteoclasts inhabit the surface of bones,
trabecular bone is more active and is more subject to bone turnover and remodeling.
It occurs from repeated traumas, none of which is sufficient to cause a sudden break, but which, when added together,
overwhelm the Osteoblasts that remodel the bone.
