Macroscopy: pleurisy, pericarditis, lung consolidation and pulmonary Oedema.

Mild pneumonia: pulmonary Oedema, pneumocyte hyperplasia,
large atypical pneumocytes, interstitial inflammation with lymphocytic infiltration and multinucleated giant cell formation.

if you have an allergic reaction or become anaemic.
If there is both retinopathy and maculopathy, macular Oedema is often treated first and

HPS is a severe flu-like
illness followed by acute pulmonary inflammation and Oedema, with a mortality rate of about 40%.
