Lamotrigine (Lamictal, or LTG), an anticonvulsant medication, is often used in patients with a history of rapid cycling and antidepressant-induced mania.
Possible side effects of lamotrigine include skin rash, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea, and vomiting.
Targets include other AEDs, particularly phenytoin, phenobarbitone, carbamazepine epoxide, and lamotrigine.
