But the people of the Junius Heights neighborhood beg to differ.
In 1944, At age 14, George Junius Stinney, Jr. becomes the youngest person
executed in the United States in the 20th century.
The earliest extant reference to the first foliation of the Nowell Codex was made sometime between 1628 and
1650 by Franciscus Junius the younger.
Junius Heights is home to some of the city's most interesting residents,
including artists, reporters for The Dallas Morning News, and about half the lawyers in town.
Proximity to downtown Dallas, great schools, and
recent recognition as a National Register Historic District are driving up Junius Heights' property values
and helping the neighborhood maintain its historic character.
