The first Minolta camera appeared in 1933, Japans' first color film in 1940,
and the companies went on to produce the world's first auto-focus cameras and launch SLR camera technology in the mid-80s.
During the meeting the ministers underscored the importance of cooperating to promote a rules-based international order, taking note of the United States continued
commitment to maintain a strong presence in the region and Japans initiatives demonstrated by its“Free and Open Indo-Pacific Strategy”.
