and We bestowed upon him the Injeel(Bible) in which is guidance and light,

And Allah will teach him the Book and wisdom, and the Taurat(Torah) and the Injeel(Bible).”.

Christians call the first four the Old Testament, whereas the Injeel is also called the New Testament.

when the Taurat and the Injeel were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand?

And had they kept the Taurat and the Injeel established, and what was sent down towards them from their Lord,

And if they had kept up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which was revealed to them from their Lord,

0

you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord;

Say,“O People given the Book(s)! You are nothing until you establish the Taurat and the Injeel, and what was sent down towards you from your Lord”;

O followers of the Book! why do you dispute about Ibrahim, when the Taurat and the Injeel were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand?

O People given the Book(s)! Why do you argue about Ibrahim, whereas the Taurat(Torah) and the Injeel(Bible) were not sent down until after him? So do you not have sense?

Say: O followers of the Book! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord;

He has revealed to you the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and He revealed the Tavrat and the Injeel aforetime, a guidance for the people, and He sent the Furqan.

And the People of Injeel must judge by what Allah has sent down in it; and whoever does not judge according to what is sent down by Allah- it is they who are the sinners.

This is an ever true promise which is binding upon Him as was mentioned in Torah and the Injeel and now in the Qur'an as well and who is more capable in fulfilling his promise than Allah?

And had they kept the Taurat and the Injeel established, and what was sent down towards them from their Lord, they would have received sustenance from above and from beneath their feet; among them is a group who is fair; but most of them commit extremely evil deeds.

Say(O Muhammad Peace be upon him):"Whoever is an enemy to Jibrael(Gabriel)(let him die in his fury), for indeed he has brought it(this Quran) down to your heart by Allah's Permission, confirming what came before it[i.e. the Taurat(Torah) and the Injeel(Gospel)] and guidance and glad tidings for the believers.

And We sent after them in their footsteps Isa, son of Marium, verifying what was before him of the Taurat and We gave him the Injeel in which was guidance and light, and verifying what was before it of Taurat and a guidance and an admonition for those who guard against evil.

And if they had kept up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which was revealed to them from their Lord, they would certainly have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet there is a party of them keeping to the moderate course, and(as for) most of them, evil is that which they do.

Say: O followers of the Book! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord; and surely that which has been revealed to you from your Lord shall make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; grieve not therefore for the unbelieving people.

Say,“O People given the Book(s)! You are nothing until you establish the Taurat and the Injeel, and what was sent down towards you from your Lord”; and this Book which has been sent down upon you from your Lord will cause many of them to advance in their rebellion and disbelief; so do not at all grieve for the disbelievers.
