On 26 March 2012, the South Sudanese army attacked the Heglig oilfield,
which is known also to the Dinka of the Unity state as Panthou a Dinka word for Heglig in Arabic,
located between the border of the Sudanese state of South Kordofan and the South Sudanese state of Unity, triggering the Heglig Crisis.
