Decolonization is as much a process as a goal.
During the era of Decolonization, newly born Asian countries started
to embrace air transport.

To overcome this situation,
the General Assembly unanimously adopted its historic Decolonization Resolution on 14 December 1960.
This change rapidly speeded during the 1960s which saw the Decolonization of approximately all of Africa.
Early American Decolonization was Creole revolutions,
as the offspring of European settlers sought political independence from their mother country.
These principles later
inspired independent India's efforts in support of the Decolonization of Africa in the 1950s and 1960s.
It also served as a vanguard of Decolonization and freedom and rights of the oppressed people of the world.
This merger created what
is now known as the“Special Political and Decolonization Committee,” officially listed in the second place of the Main Committees,
after the First.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines Decolonization as „the withdrawal from its colonies of a colonial power;
the acquisition of political or economic independence by such colonies”.
