Extending over 3 degrees in the sky(compared to the full moon which is 0.5 degrees),
and located in the northern constellation of Cygnus, the entire Cygnus Loop is 75
light years in diameter, and around 1470 light years away.
Not only because it is the first time that a Cygnus spacecraft has been launched on top of an Atlas V,
but also because the station partners are hoping that this flight will end the run of bad luck to hit station resupply missions over the last year or so.
