Our sample included
955 participants consisting of 63 percent Cisgender women, 31 percent Cisgender men,
and 6 percent genderqueer individuals.
Stereotypes of trans women include that they are generally taller than Cisgender women, and that they may have larger, more masculine hands.
To date, protagonists have been written as primarily white,
straight, Cisgender men, and so as a six-foot-five Arab American,
the range of roles explicitly written for someone who fits my description is limited.
