On the eighth of December 1930, three revolutionaries, Benoy, Badal, and Dinesh,
stormed the building and fatally shot the Inspector General of Prisons, N.S. Simpson.
But the story behind the haunted building dates back to 8th December 1930,
when three young freedom fighters- Benoy Basu, Badal Gupta,
and Dinesh Gupta- entered the Writers' building and killed the brutal Inspector General- Colonel N. S Simpson.
