The Asura does not believe in God!
BanAsura was a powerful and terrible Asura.
The Devas(gods) saw the rise of the Asura king as a threat.
In early Vedic religion,'Vritra' was an Asura with the aspect of a serpent or dragon.
Incidentally, in Bengali, Oriya and Hindi languages,
fever is referred to as Jvara. and Asura means demon.
Durga knows this when, in the Devi Purana,
she enters the battlefield and laughs at the sight of Mahisha and his Asura army.
Idols include: Lord Ganesha, Lord Harihara(Half Lord Vishnu and Half Lord Shiva), Kalyanasundara(wedding of the Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati)
and defeat of Asura Andhaka by Lord Shiva.
Asura- In this type of marriage, the bride's father has been
intimidated or bribed by the groom or his family into giving his consent to giving up his daughter for marriage.
The Marriage of Pradyumna and
Usha Once it so happened they say, that the Asura king Banasur' s daughter Usha
saw a hadsome prince in her dream and began to pine for him.
