That is the extreme Abasement.
With eyes downcast, Abasement stupefying them. And they had been
of hell to abide in it? That is the grievous Abasement.
With eyes aghast, Abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised.
Humbled their eyes, overspreading them Abasement. That is the day which they were promised.
My captivity is not My Abasement: by My life, it is indeed a glory unto Me!
With eyes downcast, Abasement stupefying them. And they had been
summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt.
The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in Abasement;
Humbled shall be their eyes, and Abasement shall overspread them,
for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole.
Neither dust nor Abasement shall overcast their faces. They shall be the inhabitants of paradise, and they shall remain in it forever.
so today you shall be rewarded with the punishment of Abasement because you were unjustly proud in the land and because you transgressed.
So We sent on them a furious wind in unlucky days,
that We may make them taste the chastisement of Abasement in this world's life;
and certainly the chastisement of the hereafter is much more abasing, and they shall not be helped.
And on the day when those who disbelieve shall be brought before the fire: You did away with your good things in your life of the world and you enjoyed them for a while,
so today you shall be rewarded with the punishment of Abasement because you were unjustly proud in the land and because you transgressed.
And(as for) those who have earned evil, the punishment
of an evil is the like of it, and Abasement shall come upon them--
they shall have none to protect them from Allah-- as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night; these are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide.
