And Yosĕph went up to bury his father.

So Yosĕph recognised his brothers, but they did not recognise him.

And the men were afraid because they were brought into Yosĕph's house.

And Yosĕph said to the people,“Look, I have bought you and your land today for Pharaoh.

And Yosĕph said to them,“Do not fear, for am I in the place of Elohim?

And the seven years of scarcity of food began to come, as Yosĕph had said.

And they said,“Is not this יהושע, the son of Yosĕph, whose father and mother we know?

But Ya‛aqoḇ did not send Yosĕph's brother Binyamin with his brothers, for he said,“Lest some harm come to him.”.

And the report of it was heard by the house of Pharaoh, saying,“The brothers of Yosĕph have come.”!

So they came near to the man over the house of Yosĕph, and spoke to him at the door of the house,

And when Yosĕph came home, they brought him the present which was in their hand, into the house, and bowed down before him to the earth.

And Yosĕph said to his brothers,“I am dying, but Elohim shall certainly visit you and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Abraham, to Yitshaq, and to Ya‛aqob.”.

But when they spoke to him all the words which Yosĕph had spoken to them, and when he saw the wagons which Yosĕph had sent to transport him, the spirit of Ya‛aqob their father revived.

And Yosĕph said to his brothers and to his father's household,“I am going up to inform Pharaoh, and say to him,‘My brothers and those of my father's house, who were in the land of Kena‛an, have come to me.
