Yet Wrangham believes drones will be more
than just a time saver.
Wrangham says,“drone sprayers don't touch the ground
so there will be less soil compaction.”.
Some like Jack Wrangham and Colin Rayner believe these flying farmhands
are the future of British farming.
Were he able to use a drone, Wrangham's company contends it would save him hours of labor.
Farmers can fix this with plowing, but Wrangham says“this can be harmful to the soil
over a long period of time.”.
No other species straddles such a wide gap,
and the reasons are staggeringly obvious once Wrangham lays them out in his calm, learned prose.
Jack Wrangham, a co-founder of the British agricultural drone company Drone AG,
says this will help farmers create healthier crops- in other words, more food.
In China, they're very popular, because they can access areas that are difficult for larger tractors to access, like steep slopes, rice crops,
things like that,” Wrangham told DW.
