    and We feared he would overwhelm them with rebellion and Unfaith.

    So whoever is faithless, his Unfaith is to his own detriment.

    Indeed nasee is an increase in Unfaith, whereby the faithless are led[further]

    fight ye the chiefs of Unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them:

    their faith and open up their breasts to Unfaith, Allah's wrath shall be upon them

    drown you because of your Unfaith? Then you will not find for yourselves any redresser against Us.

    As for the boy, his parents were faithful[persons], and We feared he would overwhelm them with rebellion and Unfaith.

    Why should you be two groups concerning the hypocrites, while Allah has made them relapse(into Unfaith) because of their deeds?

    And they say,‘Our hearts are uncircumcised.' Rather, Allah has cursed them for their Unfaith, so few of them have faith.

    Do you feel secure that He will not send you back into it another time and unleash against you a shattering gale and drown you because of your Unfaith? Then you will not find for yourselves any redresser against Us.

    Excepting someone who is compelled[to recant his faith] while his heart is at rest in it, those who disbelieve in Allah after[affirming] their faith and open up their breasts to Unfaith, Allah's wrath shall be upon them and there is a great punishment for them.

    It is He who made you successors on the earth. So whoever is faithless, his Unfaith is to his own detriment. The Unfaith of the faithless does not increase them with their Lord[in anything] except disfavour, and their Unfaith increases the faithless in nothing except loss.

    Then because of their breaking their covenant, their defiance of Allah's signs, their killing of the prophets unjustly and for their saying,‘Our hearts are uncircumcised'… Indeed, Allah has set a seal on them for their Unfaith, so they do not have faith except a few.

    And ascertain the hypocrites.[When] they were told:‘Come, fight in the way of Allah, or defend[yourselves], they said,‘If we knew any fighting, we would have surely followed you.' That day they were nearer to Unfaith than to faith. They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts, and Allah knows well whatever they conceal.

    Indeed nasee is an increase in Unfaith, whereby the faithless are led[further] astray. They allow it in one year and forbid it another year, so as to fit in with the number, which Allah has made inviolable, thus permitting what Allah has forbidden. Their evil deeds appear to them as decorous, and Allah does not guide the faithless lot.
