Daniel Susskind: 3 myths about the future of work(and
why they're not true).
Myths about the future of work(and why they're not true) | Daniel Susskind.
Susskind teaches a series of Stanford Continuing Studies courses about
modern physics referred to as The Theoretical Minimum.
In 2007, Susskind joined the faculty of Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo,
Ontario, Canada, as an associate member.
Science plays an important part, although Susskind asserts that sometimes this role is diminished by uncertainty,
disagreement, and the rise of"adversary science.
The mutual gains approach has been
effectively applied in environmental situations(see Lawrence Susskind and Adil Najam)
as well as labor relations where the parties(e.g. management and a labor union) frame the negotiation as"problem solving".
Susskind was an assistant professor of physics,
then an associate professor at Yeshiva University(1966-1970), after which he went for a year to the Tel Aviv University(1971-72), returning to Yeshiva to become a professor of physics 1970-1979.
