Shakir: Most surely, this is a manifest trial.
Shakir: So We delivered him and his followers all,
Shakir: Abiding therein; they shall not desire removal from them.
Shakir Lakhani at Chowrangi mentions that the president's behavior
was against Islamic principles.
Shakir: These are they of whom Allah knows what is in their hearts;
Shakir: And when his Lord tried Ibrahim with certain words, he fulfilled them.
Shakir: And do not say of anything: Surely I will do it tomorrow,
Shakir: Does not man remember that We created him before,
when he was nothing?
Shakir: Say: The truth has come,
and the falsehood shall vanish and shall not come back.
Shakir: And certainly We made above you seven heavens; and never are We heedless of creation.
Shakir: And most surely you are made to
receive the Quran from the Wise, the Knowing Allah.
Shakir: And certainly We have made the Quran easy for remembrance,
but is there anyone who will mind?
Shakir: They said: By Allah! now
has Allah certainly chosen you over us, and we were certainly sinners.
Shakir: Do you not see that We have
sent the Shaitans against the unbelievers, inciting them by incitement?
Shakir: And We rained upon them a fateful rain;
consider then what was the end of the guilty.
Shakir: And on the day when
those who disbelieve shall be brought before the fire: Is it not true?
Shakir: He said: I will ask for
you forgiveness from my Lord; surely He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Shakir He said: The Lord of the east and the west and what is between them, if you understand.
Shakir: Or, Who originates the creation,
then reproduces it and Who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth?
Shakir: And if his shirt is rent from behind,
she tells a lie and he is one of the truthful.
Shakir: And thus did We
give to Yusuf power in the land-- he had mastery in it wherever he liked;
Shakir: Send him with us tomorrow that he may enjoy himself and sport,
and surely we will guard him well.
Shakir: Whoever brings good, he shall have better
than it; and they shall be secure from terror on the day.
Shakir: And on the day when He shall call them and say:
What was the answer you gave to the messengers?
Shakir: They said: O our father! what reason have you that
you do not trust in us with respect to Yusuf?
Shakir: And those who disbelieve say: What!
when we have become dust and our fathers(too), shall we certainly be brought forth?
Shakir: Take this my letter and hand it over to them, then turn away
from them and see what(answer) they return?
Shakir- Name your new-born Shakir and
you will hopefully parent the most thankful child in history, as Shakir means grateful in Arabic.
Shakir: And Ayub, when he cried to his Lord,(saying): Harm has afflicted me, and Thou
art the most Merciful of the merciful.
Shakir: And We have not given them any books which they read,
nor did We send to them before you a warner.
