How many children did Sambhaji have.
Rajaram, the younger brother of Sambhaji, was crowned as king,
but had to escape when the Mughals attacked his capital.
In total, he had three daughters named Sakhubai, Ranubai,
and Ambika Bai and a son named Sambhaji born of Saibai;
Sambhaji raje sent Dadoji Raghunath to capture Janjira
but again Aurangzeb arrived in south and he had to leave the campaign.
In 2011 the statue of Waghya was removed by alleged members of the Sambhaji Brigade as a protest but was later reinstalled.
It was the Mahars who arranged for Sambhaji's memorial and, when Govind Mahar died, they
constructed a tomb for him in the same village.
Shivaji agreed to become a vassal of the Mughal empire,
and to send his son Sambhaji, along with 5,000 horsemen, to fight for the Mughals in the Deccan as a mansabdar.
