Renshaw has played 11 Test for Australia so far.
Peter Handscomb, Nic Maddinson, Matt Renshaw(Aus); and Tabraiz Shamsi(SA) all made their Test debuts.
Matthew Thomas Renshaw(born 28 March 1996)
is an English-born Australian international cricketer who plays for Queensland.
On April 11th, a State Court in Austin heard motions related to Renshaw's pleadings on behalf of his clients.
And, with the court now having entered its order, Renshaw is on the clock to file the notice of appeal.
Justin Renshaw, attorney representing the federal pilots, is basing his client's case on the fact that
the state constitution forbids monopolies of any kind.
He added that as well as Renshaw, Joe Burns
and Glenn Maxwell have been recalled to the squad for the Fourth Test to replace them.
That would leave some spots in the
team open and Queensland opener Matthew Renshaw will fly to Johannesburg later on
Tuesday to join the beleaguered test squad.
For his part, Renshaw is hoping to move the plea up to the Third
Court of Appeals in Austin and, if necessary, the Supreme Court of Texas.
On 27 March 2018, before the findings of that investigation were handed down,
opening batsman Matt Renshaw was recalled to the squad from Australia ahead of the fourth Test.
The pilot hopefuls and their attorney[Renshaw] base their argument for a State Issued license,
in part, on the premise that“Perpetuities and monopolies are contrary to the genius of a free government, and shall never be allowed, nor shall the law of primogeniture or entailments ever be in force in this State.”.
