Four Rajdhani Express Trains.
The Sealdah- New Delhi Rajdhani Express.
The main trains connecting Agra to Delhi are Palace on Wheels,
Shatabdi, Rajdhani and Taj Express.
Altogether Four Rajdhani Express Trains apart from other Super-Fast trains
take you directly from Delhi to Gaya.
To improve passenger experience,
Ministry of Railways decided to upgrade Premium Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains under Project‘Swarna'.
The special Rajdhani will initially run for three months-
from October 16 to January 16- for three days a week.
After successful testing in electric locomotives of Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Guwahati Rajdhani trains, the Railways is going to install
this device in the engines of all trains.
Bandra Rajdhani was the fastest Rajdhani train of Indian
Railways that used to operates with a maximum speed of 150 km/h but now been cancelled.
While the August Kranti Rajdhani takes around 17 hours to traverse the distance between the national capital,
the Mumbai Central-Delhi Rajdhani covers it in just under 16 hours.
Since Train 20 will have sleeper coaches, it is being pitched for long-distance overnight travel and
there are chances that it may run on the crucial Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani route.
On Ninth spot among the fastest trains in the country is train number 12313,
the Sealdah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, which covers a distance of 1458 km
in 17 hours 35 minutes.
While on the return journey, the 12434 Chennai Rajdhani leaves Hazrat Nizamuddin at 15:55 on Wednesday & Friday
and reaches Chennai Central at 20:15 in the evening of the next day.
