Many weeks after infection, the condition worsens, and complication like Meningoencephalitis develops.
If the fetus is infected in the second or third trimester of pregnancy, anemia, jaundice, hepatosplenomegaly, chorioretinitis,
pneumonia, Meningoencephalitis and fetal development retardation may develop.
