In this earlier film,
Bruce Dern plays the character Karl Kinsky, a mentally unstable tattoo artist who makes
his living by creating temporary tattoos for models.
The“peace” prize was thought to have been suggested and promoted by his former lover and
secretary Bertha Kinsky, who later won the award in 1905,
just a few years after the Nobel Prizes were established.
As well as the Belvedere, Hildebrandt's most outstanding achievements include the Schloss Hof Palace, which was also commissioned by Prince Eugene,
the Schwarzenberg Palace(formerly known as the Mansfeld-Fondi Palace), the Kinsky Palace, as well as the entire Göttweig
Monastery estate in the Wachau Valley.
