The Internet Society Isoc.
Once an RFC is ratified by the IETF and Isoc, it becomes a formal standards document.
As a part of this, Isoc has conducted a workshop during the inaugural India
Network Operators Group meeting(INNOG).
One of Isoc's primary areas of focus is training
a wide variety of people on how to use the Internet.
We provide funding for several Isoc programs that broaden technical skills
and that help develop professionals who can work together to expand the Internet's capacity.
The Internet Society(Isoc) was founded in 1992 with a mission
to"assure the open development, evolution and use of the Internet for the benefit of all people throughout the world.
It is important that people who collect data on we"treat" them with the same respect they would treat us with"in person, but" this is something
that is not done,"the head of technology of the Internet Society(Isoc), Olaf, told Efe Kolkman.
A Request for Comments(RFC), in the context of Internet governance, is a type of publication from the Internet Engineering Task Force(IETF)
and the Internet Society(Isoc), usually describing methods,
behaviors, research, or innovations applicable to the working of the Internet and Internet-connected systems.
