We can't disobey a Gunslinger.
Wait, I thought all the Gunslingers were dead.
Okay. Look out, Gunslingers.
One of the most notorious criminals in the Wild West was
James“Killer” Miller who was a paid assassin and Gunslinger.
For example, volumes 6 and 7 of Yu Aida's Gunslinger Girl center on a cyborg girl,
a former ballet dancer named Petruchka.
The well-known expression“get the hell out of Dodge” was used in the popular TV western Gunsmoke, and referred to Dodge City, Kansas,
which was a well-known hangout for Gunslingers.
It was in the leafy main square that the Gunslingers devised their plan to overtake the payroll transport,
and locals can show you where they lived- in a house just behind the mansion of the mining family they were to rob.
This same variety and eclecticism that made every psychotherapist his or her own Gunslinger, one using unsubstantiated Freudian language,
another still poring over dreams, a third looking only at cognitions, a fourth rebranding psychological conflicts as spiritual crises, and so on, meant that it was rather hard to believe that there was actually any there there.
