Do you remember the story of Gehazi?
Gehazi was not able to bring the dead
David; Gehazi; and Uzziah.
Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said,
So Gehazi followed after Naaman.
Elisha asked Gehazi,“What can I do for her then?”?
Gehazi receives Naaman's leprosy. - 2 Kings 5: 24- 27.
Gehazi said to himself:“ As surely as Jehovah is living,
Then, Gehazi hid the gift and returned to his Master's home.
Gehazi answered, She has no child and her husband is old.“.
And he called Gehazi, and said to him,“Call this Shunammite woman.”.
So Gehazi's descendants were affected by the consequences of his wrongdoing.
Gehazi would no doubt have been familiar with the story of Balaam.
Then Gehazi says,“Hey, she doesn't have a son, and her
husband is old.”.
that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite.
And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God,
she caught hold of his feet. Gehazi came near to thrust her away;
When he came and stood before his master,
Elisha asked him,“Where have you been, Gehazi?”?
Now the king was talking with Gehazi the servant of the man of God,
she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away.
This may remind us of Gehazi, who thought he could indulge his greed while still
He had asked Gehazi,"Please tell me about all of the great things that Elisha has done.".
He said to Gehazi his servant,"Call this Shunammite." When he had called
her, she stood before him.
When they reached Ophel, Gehazi took them from their hands and put them away in his house.
Ki 5:25- When he went in and stood before his master,
Elisha asked him,“Where have you been, Gehazi?”?
Ki 5:25- He went in and stood before his master,
and Elisha said to him,“Where have you been, Gehazi?”?
And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had
called her, she stood before him.
My lord king," Gehazi said,"this is the woman,
and this is that son of hers whom Elisha restored to life.".
And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child,
Gehazi said,“My master,
O king, this is the very woman and this is her son whom Elisha brought back to life!”.
