They went on to win five minor league pennants,
but more importantly, Dugdale and the team proved that baseball could thrive financially in Seattle.
Dugdale built Dugdale Park in 1913, a double grandstand
unlike any other baseball facility on the west coast, that attracted, along with the play on the field, fans by the thousands.
