Later on Demas[would] forsake Paul.
Luke, the beloved physician, salutes you, and Demas.
For Demas left me, having loved this present world,
For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present
As do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.
When Paul first mentioned Demas, he called him a fellow worker.
For Demas hath forsaken me,
having loved this present world”(2 Tim 4:10).
Demas did not stick with Paul,
for he loved this present world(2 Timothy 4:10).
Sadly, others, such as Alexander, Demas, Hermogenes, and Phygelus, did not persevere in the Christian faith.
For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present
world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
In the future, Demas Binna will continue to line up the line
and continue to provide users with satisfactory products and services.
Paul cautioned of the apostatizing effects that will appear from within the church, like those of Demas(2 Timothy 4:10), Hymenaeus and Philetus(2 Timothy 2:17).
