Long story short, a former colleague(who I now work with again),
called me in December 2015 and told me that Chippewa MS was starting a maker program
and he knew I would be interested.
It was common medical practice for medicine men of the Chippewa, also known as Ojibwe or Anishinabe,
to administer a healing poultice in conjunction with tattooing as a means for the medicine to enter into the bloodstream.
