An incoming call produces a short bleep initially, then a full ringing sound.
Early afternoon I had a single bleep from my left hand rod.
For example, 1 x 5 mins 1 x 3 mins, then repeat, or just bleep every 5 mins.
I continued my search with it set on zero, knowing the Iron would give a double bleep.
If it does not bleep, I look at the meter and make a judgment.
