Jeanne saves Bayonetta during the battle, but gets dragged down to Inferno.
Despite not seeing Bayonetta in action this time around,
the studio head has this to say to worried fans via VGC:.
But if the issue was with Sega, why would Bayonetta 2 be de-listed when Nintendo
was the one that published that game?
With only a short time to save Jeanne's soul, Bayonetta heads for Fimbulventr- which supposedly has a door to the underworld.
Platinum Games' Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are being pulled from the Nintendo UK
and Nintendo Japan eShop starting 23:59 CEST on September 18th.
As of now, during the heart of
E3 2019, the website questions Inaba about work on Bayonetta 3 and how development is going.
It was later re-released along with Bayonetta 2 on the Wii U when Nintendo picked up the publishing and
distribution license(s) for the property.
During the last Nintendo Direct, the Japanese house has unexpectedly announced a new action
made by Platinum Games, creators of Bayonetta, called Astral Chain.
Well, development on Bayonetta 3 is going well as we speak,
it will be a high-quality title, and its development process isn't like the first two installments.
For Bayonetta 3, we can say that we learned enough
from making the past two games to change our process in a way that's different to what I just described.
Earlier today, it
was noted on the ResetEra forums that Yosuke Hashimoto, director of Bayonetta 2 and presumed director of Bayonetta 3,
had scrubbed all mentions of PlatinumGames from his Twitter profile.
Overall the impression is good, ASTRAL CHAIN"moves" well, even if only to 30fps, and there is a certain care in the setting and in the atmosphere,
but it certainly does not have the charisma of any Bayonetta, to stay in line with the Platinum titles.
