We do not know who Archippus was or what his circumstances were,
but he had evidently accepted a ministry.
To our dear coworker Philemon, 2 our sister Apphia,
our fellow soldier Archippus, and the church that meets in your house.
On the other hand,
you would probably find it more difficult to say much about Archippus, Claudia, Damaris, Linus, Persis, Pudens, and Sopater.
In his letter to the Colossians, Paul wrote:“ Tell Archippus:‘ Keep watching the ministry which you accepted in the Lord,
that you fulfill it.'”.

So let us take to heart Paul's counsel to our first-
century brother Archippus:“ Keep watching the ministry which you accepted in the Lord, that you fulfill it.” The next article will help
