This is especially important in Angul district in Odisha--where 31.8% of
children under five years were stunted(short for their age), and 37.4% were anaemic in 2015, data from National Family Health Survey 4(NFHS 4) show.
A study jointly conducted by Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi(IIT-D) and Central Pollution Control Board(CPCB)
reveals that Angul district is among the top ten most polluted Indian
cities where the pollution level reached to a'very alarmingly' level.
