a'ad in A Sentence

    Bethinkest thou not in what wise thy Lord did with the'A'ad.

    And in A'ad when we sent the fatal wind against them.

    And as for A'ad, they were destroyed by a severe thundering windstorm.

    And as for A'ad, they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind.

    The tribes of Thamud and A'ad disbelieved in the judgment to come.

    The tribes of Thamud and A'ad denied the event of great dismay. The Day of Resurrection.

    And remember how He made you viceroys after A'ad and gave you station in the earth.

    The folk of Noah before them denied(their messenger) and(so did the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh firmly planted.

    As for A'ad, they were arrogant in the land without right, and they said: Who is mightier than us in power?

    A plight like that of Noah's folk, and A'ad and Thamud, and those after them, and Allah willeth no injustice for(His) slaves.

    Like the wont of the people of Nuh and A'ad and Thamud and those after them, and God intendeth not any wrong Unto His bondmen.

    And a curse followed them in the world, and on the Day of Resurrection; pay heed! Indeed A'ad disbelieved in their Lord; away with A'ad, the people of Hud!

    And a curse followed them in the world, and on the Day of Resurrection; pay heed! Indeed A'ad disbelieved in their Lord; away with A'ad, the people of Hud!

    And a curse was made to follow them in the world and on the Day of Resurrection. Lo! A'ad disbelieved in their Lord. A far removal for A'ad, the folk of Hud!

    And We destroyed the A'ad and the Thamud, and you already know their dwellings; Satan made their deeds appear good to them and prevented them from the path, whereas they could perceive.

    So regarding the A'ad, they were haughty in the land without right, and they said,“Who is more powerful than us?” Did they not realise that Allah, Who created them, is more powerful than them? And they used to deny Our signs.

    And remember when He made you successors of A'ad and gave you a region in the earth, so you now build palaces in the soft plains and carve houses in rocks; therefore remember Allah's favours and do not roam the earth spreading turmoil.”.

    And remember how He made you viceroys after A'ad and gave you station in the earth. Ye choose castles in the plains and hew the mountains into dwellings. So remember(all) the bounties of Allah and do not evil, making mischief in the earth.

    And make mention(O Muhammad) of the brother of A'ad when he warned his folk among the wind-curved sandhills- and verily warners came and went before and after him- saying: Serve none but Allah. Lo! I fear for you the doom of a tremendous Day.

    Hath not the fame of those before them reached them- the folk of Noah, A'ad, Thamud, the folk of Abraham, the dwellers of Midian and the disasters(which befell them)? Their messengers(from Allah) came unto them with proofs(of Allah's Sovereignty). So Allah surely wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves.

    Did not the news of those before them reach them- the people of Nooh, and the A'ad, and the Thamud- the people of Ibrahim, the people of Madyan and the dwellings that were overturned? Their Noble Messengers had brought clear proofs to them; so it did not befit Allah's Majesty to oppress them, but in fact they wronged themselves.
